Accounting Standards Effective in 2026 and 2027
A list of standards effective on 1 January 2026 and 1 January 2027, from revised PSAK 338 to PSAK 118, 119 and 414, for planning the year-end close.

Key points
- PSAK 118 restates 2026 comparatives, so preparation falls on this year's books.
The table below lists standards approved by the Indonesian accounting and sharia accounting standard boards with effective dates in 2026 and 2027. It uses official IAI publications. Full texts are on SAK Online.

|---|---|---|---|
| 1 January 2026 | PSAK 338 (2025) | 29 October 2025 | Business combinations under common control; investment entities excluded |
| 1 January 2026 | Amendments to PSAK 109 and PSAK 107 | 7 August 2025 | Contracts referencing nature-dependent electricity |
| 1 January 2027 | PSAK 118 | 28 May 2025 | Five profit or loss categories; replaces PSAK 201 |
| 1 January 2027 | PSAK 119 | 27 August 2025 | Reduced disclosures for subsidiaries without public accountability |
| 1 January 2027 | PSAK 414 | 29 April 2025 | Impairment of sharia financial assets for SAK EP users |

What needs preparing now
PSAK 118 applies retrospectively, so the 2027 statements present 2026 under the new structure. Account mapping for those comparatives should be done on the 2026 books, as set out in Five Profit or Loss Categories in PSAK 118.
PSAK 414 is for SAK EP users holding sharia receivables, such as murabahah, istishna and ijarah income receivables. The board’s announcement says impairment is based on historical loss data, without taking the time value of money into account.
The amendments to PSAK 109 and PSAK 107 matter only to companies with contracts to buy electricity from nature-dependent sources.
PSAK 119 is an option for eligible group subsidiaries, covered in Subsidiary Disclosures Under PSAK 119. Changes to PSAK 338 are covered in Revised PSAK 338.
Standards approved later, including the amendment to PSAK 228 and PSAK 120, should have their effective dates checked on SAK Online.
