Which tenders require an audit?
A requirement for statements audited by a public accountant commonly appears in:
- Government procurement through LPSEparticularly construction work at medium and large qualification levels.
- State-owned enterprise (BUMN) tenders and vendor prequalificationincluding their subsidiaries.
- Vendor registration with large private and multinational companiesoften on an annual renewal cycle.
- Construction business entity certification (SBU)and certain other sector certifications.

04Frequently asked
Do all tenders require an audit?
No. The requirement typically applies to medium and large construction qualifications, state-owned enterprise (BUMN) tenders, and private tenders of significant value. Check your procurement documents, or send them to us and we will read the requirement for you.
Our books are not in order yet, is that a problem?
It can be worked with. We have a separate financial statement preparation team, kept apart from the audit team so independence is preserved. Start early rather than close to the submission deadline.
What does it cost?
It depends on the size of the company, its complexity, and how ready the books are. We provide a written proposal once we understand your position. The initial consultation is free of charge.
Can you audit a company whose parent reports under IFRS?
Yes. The statutory audit is performed on Indonesian financial statements under Indonesian accounting standards, and we routinely coordinate with group auditors and head-office reporting timetables. Through Abacus Worldwide we also work with member firms in over 50 countries on group engagements.
Submission deadline getting close?
The earlier the audit starts, the more room there is in the schedule. Get in touch today and we will map what is still achievable.
